What Do I Do After My Tax Deed Is Redeemed?
I own 2 tax deeds purchased last August in Georgia. One of them was redeemed by the property owner one week before the 1 year anniversary. Is there anything I have to file with the county to say that he's paid me? I'd appreciate the help! Thanks, Denise

Have not done Ga.,but in NJ the owner has paid the municipality - I get a phone call from municipality letting me know it has redeemed - 3-8 weeks later I get a check in the mail. The county is actually acting as my back office.
Suggest you phone the county. They may already be on top of it & " your check is in the mail". Good Luck
