Redemption Of Tax Forclosed Land
Ipurchased land on a tax forclosure Jan.2004, owner wishes to redeem tha land but wants to redeem it in someone elses name to keep from having back taxes accumilated re- added to lan d again. the county clerk's office tells me to not sigh a quit claim deed in any one elses name but make a quit claim deed exactly as it was sold. can I be forced to redeem it to someone other than the original owner? :evil:

I'd suggest you not take your legal advice from non-lawyer government workers.
Talk to a very knowledgeable real estate attorney and ask this question, is my recommendation.
