Out Of 100 Tax Sale Properties, How Many Are Redeemed?
Considering all default taxpayer situations (estate, broke, overlooked) how many tax sale properties are actually purchased back by the original owner during the various state redemption periods? Say for 100 properties actually purchased at a tax sale auction, how many (rough estimate) will eventually transfer to the purchaser.?
That is a good question.....anyone out there know?
I know one person said he had bought hundreds of properties at auction and only twice had they come back and redeemed. I am under the impression it is very rare but can and will eventually happen.
