Interested In Tax Deed Info In Phila, PA...
is there anyone on this board in the area investing this way? just looking for some advice on how to get started since i just picked up a tax lien book by Larry Loftis...
im curious about the surrounding counties (bucks, mont, delaware, lehigh etc.) even Delaware and NJ. and info would be appreciated... have a great day

you can't buy those tax liens in PA to the best of my knowledge. when the property owner doesn't pay it goes for tax sale. at the first sale you buy the property subject to any and all liens. If it doesn't get sold at the sale, it continues on and a second sale is scheduled. at the second sale, you get it free and clear - those are the falling down properties they buy for $1.
:-? Frank I've read Loftis book too. How did you find this book. Do you clearly understand what to do after reading this book? I don't. That is why I am here.
i have not touched this book in about 3-4 weeks so i do not have any advice to give you on th e subject at this time. i have been going the elementary route of looking through JohnMichael's materials which are extremely helpful.
you may want to begin there. it is really elementary and challenging as well. because he wants you to suceed at this.
