Buying Tax Liens & Deeds

My husband is interested in getting into this type of investment. We have a few questions:

Where can we find lists of properties available for sale online?

How do you handle the eviction process for properties you may end up with?

Where can I find each states' interest and money back policies for tax liens?

Thank you,

Each county is responsible for the tax sales. Do a search for your county to see if they have on line sales info. If not check with them they may post a list. They also have to advertise in local paper. There is no refund that you ask of. There is the right for the owner to redeem. Here in Texas it is 2 years for homestear and farm land but only six months for others. Must pay 25% premium for 1 yr or part therof and 50% premium or 1 yr plus. After the proper time you get complete ownership.

    Good LUCK and Thank You
    Hope this helps some

You might check out the California state controllers office website. Counties must file tax deed sales with them a couple of months before their sales.

Another lead place is the California Assn. of County Treasurers and Tax collectors website. You can find links to every Countie in California.
