How do I register my home for Homestead act?
I live in oklahoma and I just purchased my first home as well as a rental property. I know Oklahoma has some sort of a homestead act where you get a tax break for your personal residence. How can I find out more about this and go about getting this discount? Thanks for the help.
Check with your county assessor's office or your county recorder.
If they don't physically have the forms at their offices, then they should be able to tell you where to pick them up.
