Insurance Cancelled?!

walkman101 profile photo

My sub2 insurance policy has been cancelled because the property is no longer occupied. It was a rehab job that took a little long, rehab is complete and its on the market for sale.

On a new policy on a property in sub2: who are the various parties? The seller with trustee as additionally insured? The trust?

Please help me fill out the form

The homeowners policy has been cancelled effective in a few days. A new builders risk / vacant dwelling policy is going on at the same time.

I would say Chase would have no problem writing a letter stating they will follow the law in this specific instance.

Have your wife write the request letter to Chase, and ask mom-in-law sign the letter also. Do you have problems with your wife to going on title without you and adding you later?

Let us know how it worked out, OK?

thanks. I hope to give them a call first thing in the morning and see what they say. Do you think it would be beneficial to speak to a real estate attorney about any of this?
