Who Is The Mortgage Company?
I am new to foreclosure - my disclaimer. Just got a deed and all the paper work. The original mortgage has 1st Florida Staet Mortgage Corp as the lendor. The Lis Pendens has Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corporation as the Plantiff. In the county records there is no Assignment of Mortgage. What is the mortgage company who I should contact for a possible SS?

Grabbing the deed may invalidate your chances for a mortgagee approved short sale.
In most short sale approval letters, it stipulates that the mortgagor may not have transferred title to a third party.
The deed was transferred to a land trust and it has not been recorded. Working with someone who has done many of these and learning their method.
