SS Offer - Listing Agreement
I see in some posts and other resources that a lender will often want a listing agreement submitted in a SS packet. What is the purpose of this requirement? I am not sure how this affects the deal. Need the property actually be listed? Thank you.

That will depend upon how the mortgagee interprets the "criteria" that has been imposed by the Investor who owns the loan... and how compelling your argument/proposal is.
That sound reasonable to me seeing that i sent a net Package to a bank and they denied my offer that was above the actual loan amount. My offer was 128k and the BPO was 143k. I guess it depends of what Lender you are dealing with. I am pretty upset about this and there isnt much i can do.
could it be an FHA backed loan or a VA loan?????
