Mentoring /partnerships

I met a mentor on another forum to help me with my first short sale and he lives 3 time zones over.He will help me for a split and I was lucky to have the right deal.Perhaps this would help alot more of us to get started and MAKE $$$.
What are your thoughts anybody?I may give up $50K but I have my doubts if I could keep from stepping all over myself and blowing the deal without him.
