Mailing Lists

Could someone please offer me advice. I am looking to get a mailing list, which I would liek to sue to send post cards and marketing letters. I am interested in both Sub2 seals and especially short sales. Any resources I can check out to purchase these lists? I am specificallt interested in SW Ohio. Also, when buying these lists, what selection criteria do you specify (I don't know how detailed I can make these lists). Thanks; John

I plan on doing both, but I haven't located a source to print bandit signs yet. I joined my local REIA club, but am in the middle of a rehab right now, and am really busy, so the networing has been back-burnered. I read on one of the posts where someone was purchasing mailing lists and I was wondering where to go to check them out.

Eventually, I will use multiple forms of marketing. Thanks for the post

I think what alegrier was suggesting is that if you are going to just help out the post office with a little work, you don;t need a particular list.

Far be it fro me to tell you it would be a mistake, but I know of aboslutely no one who was actually able to make a living off of post card responses.

If you don't have the time to do the job right, then maybe you should hold off for a while - why start wasting you money?

See if your local property appraiser has an online database, I've used this to locate properties that fit my criteria and have about a 3-5% success ratio of getting a call, which isn't bad for direct marketing.
