IS It Possible To Do 5 Shortsales A Year?

If you keep at your marketing and target the right area, is it really possible to do 3-5 shortsales a year?

I know of an investor whos done 1 or 2 but he looks for Sub2's to rehab, I wonder if he targeted foreclosures with no equity or if I did, would there be a good chance that I could close on few of them successfully?

    The only difference between shorts and conventional acquisitions is that shorts take more time to negotiate for an approval, and the window of closing is small, usually 30 days from the date of written approval (possibly an extension or two), you'll need to your financing pre-arranged, and you'll need to have your 'Team' in place to close efficiently.

    If you have the 'farming' technique in place, your Short Sale Team in place, and a reliable source of funds, no reason why you can't do one a month.

    Well for me at least, I try to do 3-4 a month. But this is ALL I do. I basically do all the follow up by myself. My "team" is in place and it can get hectic but I keep good notes and just remember the payday at the end of the rainbow.

    You should read trough the forums on this board. There is a ton of information available for free and even more if you decide to purchase a program. In your place I wood spend good week or so going trough the topics and then reevaluate your question.

    I do more than 15 short sales per year.

    Who do you consider to be on the TEAM? Rehab workers, gardeners, cleaners,etc + realtors who sell the properties for you so you can concentrate on finding and working out the deals, who else? Maybe would be useful for this forum poster and other who are looking to learn if you do elaborate a bit more. ... Just a thought.

    as far as the good course, the one I heard from many to be the best is Mr. Preforeclosure Jeff Kaller's one. The shorter version is the one day corse he did with Ron LeGrand.
