Is it possible to adjourn the Sheriff Sale 3 weeks till Sheriff Sale to perform a short sale? If yes How?

I go door knocking right when my lis penden list gets emailed to me but am having no success getting someone to agree on a short sale.
Maybe b/c in NJ they have enough time from the day lis pendens is filed till Sheriff sale to procrastinate or sit on alternitives.

I just got Sheriff Sale list pretty accurate.
With 3 weeks till Sheriff Sale, borrowers will be more movtivated. I know guys who do this but dont want to give away any information/secrets.

My funds are ready to go, Im inexperienced, Ive read alot into short sales(TheShortSalePro, BluePrint, out of all is worth a million+)

Is it possible to adjourn the Sheriff Sale 3 weeks till Sheriff Sale to perform a short sale? If yes How?
I Would like to hear of members experience/advice.
THANKS.

3 weeks from Sale? To stop it that late in the process, you had better have a completed, presented, and approved preforeclosure short sale application... and be ready to close.

In NJ, the Sheriff of each County can, at his whim and pleasure, grant one or two, discretionary adjournments of two weeks each... There must be good cause, and an expectation that a remedy would be in place within that term.

Thank you so much for the info fellas.

Great you can adjourn it in my county.
So is it feasible to perform a short sale at this time of the foreclosure process, can it still make sense for the bank?
