Future Of ShortSales?

jblanco profile photo

Hello Everybody

During a recent conversation with a real estate investor who does shortsales said that they are going to be a less common option for the banks. He mentioned that the banks were likely to make a new department and get more involved with local participation by real estate companies to sell them. Is this true? What are your thoughts on this? What are the future trends for ShortSales?

In Central FL the number of Les Pendens has dropped dramatically from last year. Is the economy better, is the bank wiling to work with the morgagor, are people selling their house in this hotmarket prior to foreclosure - I do not know. But something has changed the numbers of Les Pendens.
