Contract On A Ss I Was Working
Todat Owner recived a contract for almost full amount owed on his house . I startred Short sale about 3 weeks ago have been working with bank .Owner asked me wheather or not to accept contract I said yes as it was a lot more than I was offering and I feel will be quickly accepted. My question is How do I get paid . Is my best option to record a memorandum of contract and How do I list this on hud-1 .

I would ask for a formal postponement. You can write this letter to the lender and explain to them that you need time to perform your due diligence on the property. Gather paperwork, run comps, get a contractors repair estimate. Tell them you need to do this to provide them with a very viable offer.
