Can This Be Done

Oxbody profile photo

I have a SS I am working on and the auction is July 6th.

I have been on this thing constantly for about the last 6 week which would have been plenty of time.

The RE agent who has the listing was extremely reluctant to be of any assistance what-so-ever until this morning. She probably realized that this was her only chance to get a commission.

Anyway she has let time pass but now she tells me the seller is willing to deal with me.

If I can get a proposal together and get it to the bank can I get this thing done in 2 or 3 weeks?

Any shortcuts at this point would be helpful. I still have the oppotunity to get the house at auction but things get crazy at auctions right now.

    Thank you.

This is also the one where the wife will sign and the husband will not. He gave her the home in the seperation and she has signed the offer to purchase.
His name is still on the notes of course.
    2 liens.

Do I need to put as much repair into the proposal as I can, no matter how small?[ Edited by Oxbody on Date 06/15/2005 ]

I would simply try and get the auction sale post-poned. In Oklahoma that happens frequently with my short sales because most of the time people call me 2-3 weeks before the sale in a panic. I would turn in a purchase agreement and request the auction to be post poned. That should buy you some time.

Who do I request the post ponment (sp) from?

Also, depending on who I talk to, my offer is under review and I will have an answer soon or it will take 30-45 days.
