Time Between Contacts

i met with a motivated fsbo
wednesday. toured house and made offer of 280k.he was asking 365k down from 375k. i checked records prior to meeting and found out he paid 251k
in june 02. the neighborhood is a 360-380k neighborhood the house needs updating and repairs to the tune of 35-40k. motivation is he is moving to calif. his flight leaves sunday afternoon. he rejected the 280 and thought he would try a realtor. i talked about the commision he would pay and extra time it would take to close. after running numbers he thought he would end up 315k after paying realtor. how soon should i call him again to make another offer (friday)or should i just wait till the 11th hour.
sunday morning. i think i can get this deal done.
any advice is greatly appreciated

    I would have negotiated while in front of the seller but now I wouldn't hesitate and call back the next day. GOOD LUCK
