It is always best to ask your local real estate agent or appraiser what will increase your home's re-sale value. Here is a beginning list of renovations with the most punch:
  1. New Paint/Siding for the exterior
  2. Remodel Kitchen
  3. Remodel Bathroom
  4. Add an additional room or garage
  5. Convert attic or basement into a room
  6. Landscape the yard/add a deck
Are you surprised pools or hot tubs weren't on the list. These sometimes limit the amount of people interested in looking at your home. When doing any renovation, try and keep your future "buyer" in mind and stay away from personal "customized" features.
