Hello Rehab is telling you what you want to know I,ll try to tell you how. 1st push knob down turn to the pilot position. 2nd follow little copper tube to the end thats where you lite it with your big lighter. 3rd wait till the pilots lit which could take awhile if the gas has been off for awhile turn knob to on position then whosh the burners should lite. Hope this gets you hot into hot water. Ed
