Electric Baseboard Heating?

house2house profile photo

Hi,

How bad is this?

Does that mean there is not any duckwork in this house?

So, to have central air is out of the question?

Not sure how Electric Baseborad heating works.

Any information on this.

Thank you!

    Is there an accessible attic?

If so, the air handler could go in the attic as well as all the accompanying duct work. The vents and returns would be installed in the ceilings, not the walls.

    Good Luck.

    Hi,
    Air Handler ?

There is access to the attic. So are you telling me I can put everything I need in the attic to get heat throughout the house? Could that mean oil heat or Propane heat?

This may be a silly question, but heat rises, so how efficient would this be.

And one more question.... If I can access the attic, I can have air condition through out the house?

I really appreciate the help. I want to live in this house, but know the electric baseboard will be very expensive,

Is there a web site that anyone knows that can show how to install heat and A/c in a house without ducts.
Maybe showing how to install ducts, if that is possible.

Again..... Thanks for all the help!!!

Oh, this is a Ranch House, Brick, and only 1200 sq ft.
    Attic, and no basement.

    Thank you!

    Hi,
I like that idea. Ducts in the corner, and hidden by drywall. Never even considered that. Good Idea.

Also, using the attic and ceiling to get heat and a/c
throughout the house is another good idea.

That is why I ask you experts!
    Appreciate all the advice.
    Thanks
