Adobe Problems In El Paso!
I have a property down in El Paso, Texas and with all the bad rains that we have received in the last few weeks I am starting to see damage. The house is 60 years old and the plaster that is covering the adobes is flaking off in 12 inch sections from the ground up. The water table is very high and I believe that moisture is leaking through the foundation and is starting to compromise the adobes. Please advise on how to fix the plaster once the house dries out. I have fans running inside and also down underneath the house in a 3 foot crawl space. I am hoping this will dry out the house and allow me to fix the plaster problem.
Do you know any professionals that live in El Paso that might be able to help?
