2nd Rehab! Heating/cooling?
I close thursday on my 2nd rehab. purchase price is 240, and I already have a buyer for 315.
I'm wondering a bit on expenses though. I have to put in a new heating and air conditioning system, including duct work. The house is 1500 sq ft. Does 5k sound reasonable?
I'm also having the hardwood sanded and refinished. Is there anything special I should look out for?
How much should I expect to spend setting up a new standard bathroom where there is none now?
there are WAY too many variables for this forum to be of benefit to you. Just pull out the phone book and can a few contractors. Yes their bids willbe higher than you can get the work done for by yourself; but they should see the problems that will invariably occur and save you significant time.
I just finished a complete gut remodel and the heating system ( no AC was over 12k) you can always try to find a way to get the jobs done for less; but if you don;t know the level of difficulty, you can't make an informed decision
you put in just a heating system and it was over 12k?
