I Am A Landlady Trying To Collect Rent/person Filed Bankrupcy
Just was wondering what all of these means. I have been trying to collect a debt from one of my old tenants who breeched our rental agreement and now got a letter in the mail saying she filed chapter 7 bankrupcy and also telling me about a meeting of creditors. What exactly is the meeting of creditors and what kind of papers do they want if I want to file a complaint objecting to discharge of the debtor? Anybody know? Thanks.
