Eviction Follow Up Thanks And A Few Comments

thanks all and especially kfspropertymanagement.

i am going to call the power company on monday and go by there recomendation. if the police get involved than oh well.

he was a freind but now its about my well being.

    As long as your tenants are paying for the water, gas and electric; you should do very well to offer the appliances.


    We used to do this but when someone walks through and sees "hooked-up" appliances they tend to think they are included in the rent. Just be sure to make it clear fron the onset - and if they don;t want to pay your extra $25, be prepared to take them out.

    thanks for your response would $25 extra a month be enough or should it be alittle more?

    I was thinking that I would just tell them when they viewed and if they did want them I would buy them and install them befor they move in. And of course have it written in the lease.

    I have not done laundry at a laundrette in so long I would not even venture a quess at what that costs a month in machine fees.

    I think it is a good idea to offer it. I couldn't imange paying more then $25 a month to rent a washer and dryer. Buy the basic it doesn't need to be anything fancy.

    I don't buy them for my tenants, i have seen others that do. If they are already in the unit, the tenant can use them all they want, but i won't pay to repair them...
