Credit Underwriting On Renter's Insurance

Are there ANY Insurance Companys that don't do a credit report for Renter's Insurance? I require my tenant's have it, but it is getting hard for them to get it. :-?

    You may check with Homesite Insurance. Also, many states have a "Pool" or "FAIR Plan" that offers renters inusrance.

    Do you work with or have an independant insurance agent around your area? If so, then that is where I'd send my renters.

    An independant agent is much like a mortgage broker, they will fish around for the best deal on what you're looking for so you don't have to.

    Find an Agent that will work with and for you (familiar with REI). Unfortunately, many independent Agents have only a few contracts with differing carriers. With minimum production and technology challenges (proprietary software, etc...) Many independents have fewer options than they once had...
