Condo Vacation/Corporate Rental In Vegas

Hi, I just closed on a condo in Vegas that I plan to rent for vacation/corporate rental, and use personally nce in a while.

My problem is that the cleaning quotes I am receiving are coming in around $80-100. That is going to be a tough charge to put on top of a $300 weekend rental, but they are all pretty consistent. Remember that I do need the sheets and towels washed, as well as the unit cleaned, before the next renter comes in. Does this sound about right?

Also, do you guys know where I can find a short-term rental agreement, or should I just take the parts of what I need from my existing 4-unit lease?

As for credit card payments - do you guys accept them through Paypal, Quickboks, or not at all? I am going to be asking for a $500 security deposit so I will need a way to process a credit card for this as well as for payment.

Thanks in advance.

I rented a vacation home for a weekend in Vegas. The guy was new to it. I was the first person to stay there and so he was still learning, but I will tell you how it went.

He did not accept credit cards and wanted a money order or cashiers check mailed to him. Since it was about a week before I was planning on staying there he agreed to let me mail him a check for the security deposit and the "rent". He cashed these before I stayed there to make sure I was good for the money. After I stayed there I was mailed a check back for the security deposit.

He did not charge a cleaning fee, but most of the places did. Most of the cleaning fees I saw were between $50-$80, but they said if you were planning on staying for and extended period of time, a week or longer they would negotiate a cheaper rate.

I do not have a copy of the agreement, but I would imagine you could modify a regular rental agreement.

    I hope this was helpful.
