I'm still new at this, but our duplex (rental) is insured by Florida Select Insurance. They allowed us to insure the rental property all by itself. Many companies want you to insure your personal residence and all of your vehicles before they will write a policy. Florida Select did not require that. So I will use them again. I agree with Norrist, I used state farm until they met their rental number quota in my area.
Got to play the local market you are in for insurance.

I use farm bureau insurance and they are very reasonable!
