Seminar

I post here because this is the forum I watch the most. I am really enjoying reading this forum as I begin the plunge into the RE market. I just wanted to know if a seminar is a good way to go for like a little crash course, I am reading some books now but I would like to educate myself more. I am in Kearny, New Jersey.

Thanks

It all depends on the individual. I have read where some people spent as much as 30 Grand on seminars before buying there first property. Then theres the other side of the spectrum, I bought my first property before realizing that carleton sheets ever existed. Wish I had of known, but I didnt do too bad the first go around.
Firstly you need to figure out what type of investor you want to be and then what type of properties you wish to acquire. Then get the book on that match, if you feel you are lacking more knowledge get a second book and then go to the seminar if you still need more guidance. Just remember though that all of your questions will never be answered. You will have to be creative in your thinking and use what you have learned as a base, and extend and expand on it from there. Also be prepared to fail, If they agree whith what I have offered the first time, I know I did something wrong.

    Hope that helps,
    Kyle
