I certianly think Lucius contributes to this site, so let me preface my following statement with this in mind.

This Article is board hustling and advertising at it's finest.

I remember a while back when Derrick Ali and Dwan & Sharon used a simialiar method to rope in the new person and even some of the old ones. In both cases they were caught lets just say with being less than truthful in some of thier statments, this is why you do not see them posting any more.

This Article contributes to spam email harvesting and just plain board hustling. We know nothing of Lucius's qualifications when he is promising a return on someone's investment in the Deal Shop, albeit time or money.

If someone reads it differently please advise.

I agree. Lucius contributes to this site. However, he has gotten a tremendous amount of mileage on TCI for his pet project--container houses. He manages to mention the words "container houses" in many of his Forum posts and certainly in his Articles.

It seems to me that his publicizing and advertising his container houses and deal-making shop (with or without the words "container houses"wink constitute advertising and hustling. Furthermore, allowing him to do this while at the same time telling other people they can't advertise or hustle is a double standard and not fair.[ Edited by NancyChadwick on Date 04/10/2004 ]

The Comments area is supposed to be moderated by everybody. Choose something from the pulldown menu, go to the bottom of the page and click Moderate.

If you choose 'Off Topic' click Moderate, and then do it again, the comment should drop off the page.

Basically every comment has a rank, if one comment is more popular than the others, it should appear higher than others.

While we're on the subject Joel, John is referring to the actual article and not just the comment section which because it is moderated by "everyone" gets very little moderating.

The system itself is haphazard at best. Sometimes I can't get it to work at all. Other times, even though a comment has been tagged "offtopic" it still shows up.
