Advertising In Articles

The latest article, submitted by Penscotrust is nothing more than a good advertisement. Even the user name is an ad. At the bottom of the article, it states for more information on trusts, please see my profile.

Now, if this was in the forums, it would have been deleted quickly and the user might even get jail time. Why is it allowed in the article section?

    Roger,

Excellent question why is the integrity of the board overlooked in the articles?

Lucius now this person, pretty soon the posters will just submit articles because they know they can advertise, board hustle or whatever as long as it is in an article.

Roger maybe it is just you and I that don't understand the different set of standards.

I vote for more articles my advertising fingers are poised at the keyboard, I have purchased several thousand fifty gallons drums that can be converted to houses for tall thin people.

I mean George Foreman fattens you up with his grill, then sells you big and tall clothes. Someone call George he should get into the act, the George Foreman forget "shorts", try my "big" and "tall".

If everybody who can view Articles can also access the Forums, why not have a Forum called "Articles"? The first sentence or two of the Article could be on the home page as it is now, but the body of the Article would be posted in the "Article Forum" and people could post their replies to it. Then Articles and "comments" (posts) would come within the existing Forum Rules.
