What To Do?

My husband and I want to move to FL. Naples or Ft. Myers area. We had planned on a mobile home but were discouraged because of depreciation. Now were looking at condos. I just would like something that offers some privacy, but not high prices. Any ideas. Appreciate any of your suggestions. Thank you in advance. K.Z. confused

You are right to pass on Mobile Homes. I am on the West Coast and I would not recommend a mobile home on either coast. Naples/Ft Myers has appreciated rapidly over the past few years and it will take a lot of luck to find something reasonable. You may want to consider the West Coast, Pinellas, Paso Counties and Sarasota area instead. Prices here are much more reasonable with awesome potential for appreciation in upcoming years.

Depreciation is sometimes a very good thing.... for the buyer. Florida is called God's waiting room for a reason. There are a good many MH's for sale, and for the discriminating buyer, some real deals. As in all aspects of RE, you must be able to recognize a good deal, and also realize you are searching not only for a good deal or a nice home, but a motivated seller as well.

    Good Luck,
