Go the NADA web site. Follow the prompts for a manufactured homes. You need to know the home's manufact, model, year, and size. It helps to know the quailty of the material used (i.e. superior, medium ,etc... grade). Should be able to determine est. retail value from this site.

Sorry Stardave - been a while since I've visited the site. Notice that they removed the free value link. You might try a Local insurance company that handles mobile homes - they may be able to research the value for you if you mention using them.

    stardave,

    Glad to meet you.

You really do not need a NADA book for this year of mobile they do not go back to 1980. I believe they have a formula for older units, which when you are done would equal not much.

But my expierence tells me that this unit if I were buying would be worth $500 - $1K.

You cannot finance it, so you will have to carry the paper. You should get somewhere around $4K - $5K retail.
