Most states treat the MH as personal property, get with your DMV and find out how to go about getting title from abandonment.

You may have to publish in some paper and let the lein holder you are going to take possession. And send certified letters to lien holder of record, and the last known occupant/buyer.

How did you find that? At the court house or on a title? If it still titled as a motor vehicle it will be different than if it is classified as real estate. Is it a lien or a mortgage. be a little more clear with that and maybe I can help. Also, which state are you in?

Thanks for the replies . First of all the property is in Kentucky. I had called the previous owner or resident some time back. The property is in his wifes name. She said that she had refinanced the mobile home along with the property with the same company that is selling ****Must Reach Freshman Investor status before posting URL's***he mobile home seems to be in her husbands name along with another individual .I first went to the property value administrator. They had the property accessed with the mobile ****Must Reach Freshman Investor status before posting URL's***hey had checked into it later and gave me the VIN number of the mobile home. I took that to the county clerks office and they told me that It was registered in the neighboring county and has the name of the previous land owners husband and another individual on the title, and also has a lien. It shows the lienholders name and address. I could not find thier phone number. I looked in the yellow pages on the internet. I call the secretary of state ,in th state that the mortage company is supposed to be in( Indiana). They said that they had no listing. I called the local chamber of commerce in that town. They had no listing. I even called the post office and asked if that was a legitimate business and address. They told me that they could not give that information.
    Thanks, Dan
