Lambo Field... Lots of people in and out of there.

Seriously though, you want to place them in high traffic areas and according to your local sign police laws.

I wish I could post them at Lambeau!

According to local sign laws......I would rather beg for forgiveness then ask for permission, which I will not get.

Just trying to figure where at 2am I should post signs and then drive off quickly.

    thanks,

    Peter

how does one go about finding out if posting bandit signs is against the law in a particular city?

just post 'em and see if you get a friendly call from someone from the city govt or police, maybe?

post 'em and see if they take 'em down?

any ideas, you veteran bandit sign posters?

To my understanding it is not the "cops" that enforce these code violations. It is code enforcement and they get off at 5. Also they have weekends and all federal holidays off too.

Signs are considered a "violation". It ranks among breaking one of those stupid Home Owner Association rules...you know, you can't paint your house blue, or the roof needs to be washed.

It is different in different areas and each area enforces the rules differently. In some areas it is volunteers that get together once a ____ to enforce the code. Again, they probably consit of the anal people that sit on the typical HOA board....That one lady that got real mad because she didn't win the nicest lawn of the month award after she spent so much money watering the freaking thing. She's the type that usually enforces this code.

I had a cop drive by me while I was putting the signs out, he never stopped. They are out there to do the things that you see on COPS. Think about it, the show wouldn't be very interesting if they stopped Joe Investor for sticking a sign in the ground. However, if Joe Investor / Drug Dealer was putting out signs, that's a different story. I don't think FOX or any other TV station is going to be picking up the next reality TV show called CODE ENFORCEMENT...
Theme Song: "Huh, Bandit Signs, Whatcha gone, Whatcha gonna do,
When the enforcer dun dun come for you." All suspects are fined and innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.

You can search the code for your area on these signs, but I'll tell you already, your gonna find it, and you might get fined....if you get a call.

Driving over the speed limit by 1 mph is against the law, but it doesn't stop me from doing it.

I ordered my first set of bandit signs last week to place at busy intersections where people have to stop and admire the other bandit signs (FSBO, Realtor, Garage Sale, etc). If they don't like mine then the rest will need to go as well
