We Buy Houses Clothes

ryand profile photo

Has anyone here ever thought of wearing clothes that say we buy houses all over them? you could iron it all over yourself and walk around. I thought of this in my sleep and i wanted to share the great idea with everybody. You could also get one of those cool haircuts and have it shaved into the back of your head.

There is no need to thank me for this i just want a cut of every deal you get from my new strategy. I think i just started a new trend that is going to get big, real big.[ Edited by ryand on Date 02/28/2005 ]

I have seen a guy that had a we-buy-houses t-shirt. He said it works.

  • InActive_Account28th February, 2005

You could sponsor a little league team in your area and have them wear your "We Buy Houses" shirts.....

  • ryand28th February, 2005

im not going to lie. that is actually a good idea!

  • loon28th February, 2005

Or you could hire an airplane to tow your "I buy houses" banner around outside the monthly "Pre-Foreclosure Homeowners Fair" down at the Colliseum...do business-card drops every ten minutes...

You must not have heard of the guy who sold advertising space on his forehead on ebay?! It was for a period of only a couple weeks and the winning bidder/advertiser received national attention from the media. The auction was up to over $20k when I checked it...not sure what it eventually ended up at.

  • ZinOrganization28th February, 2005

yeah his forehead space ended up going for around 30k i think. then everyone started copying him and trying to do the same. but because he was the first to do it, it caused a big media commotion and ended up getting that company alot of media attention for shelling out the dough. now its old news and the media isnt covering all the copycats, but still can be an affective way to market. for the right price.

You guys who have used t-shirts with "WE BUY HOUSES", on them. Can you PM me with a good t-shirt co. to do this for me. I only need a small run. Thanks!

  • ryand1st March, 2005

yes i could afford that garbage. fact is, is that i have better things to spend my money on and i would not buy a tee shirt for 100.00 that i could get somewhere else for 2.00 just because of a name. I may not be smart but im damn well not stupid.

  • ZinOrganization1st March, 2005

  • NewKidinTown22nd March, 2005

that is kinda funny..good idea..the problem is, is that when people see that it is a punk kid in the car they wont care. i sit with my seat all the way back and i wear my du rag everywhere i go. once i got out and they saw i had untied tims flopping around they would be turned off. My pants are only south pole and i wear them extra low.

p.s. when i dont have my du rag i just wear a white tee shirt on my head[ Edited by ryand on Date 03/02/2005 ]

    P.S. i have 15 du rags

  • davese2nd March, 2005

No problem Ain, I took it that way.

I just want to make sure that even though it may seem silly or outrageous to some, marketing is all about getting your name and what you do out to as many people as possible. By any means........

And John, Tatoos are great, right in the middle of your forehead gets a lot of attention.

I have tried to make it understanding and helpful, it is a new design so we will see if this one works better than others or not.
After all the most important thing you can do with any letter is "mail it".

Response rate is about 3% and we are trying to improve it.
Will have to dredge up the old letter and post it.

    SP,

How do you find the defaults? Do you go to the courthouse and research them yourself? I am new to this end of the business and i would love any advice/experiences you can offer about compliling databases of defaults. Thanks!

stockpro - do you also send postcards out as well as your letter, or strictly letters?

  • Stockpro997th March, 2005

To date I have been sending out strictly letters with handwritten addresses and stamps (this seems ti get more opened and read.
I have had pretty good response and after today may have to put a few on hold to avoid being over committed smile

I love it... It is filled with empathy and that is what people in bad situations are looking for...

Appealing to the emotions is exactly what you are doing and is great a great re$pon$e mechanism.
