For Sale Books On This Site

It seems that lately, there has been many " How to books" being offered via links on this site. Has anybody bought any of them? It seems to me that the information given in the forms on this site are informative and very worthwhile. I was just wondering if any of these $50.00 ebooks have any merit.

    Melanie,

Handritten address is not as as important on a postcard as it is not needed to help get it opened.

However, personalizing the postcard with their first name would increase response, but this is not always practical.

Make sure you have a strong headline though to get it read.

    Jason,

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking about something along the lines of on the front:

Why was the real estate agent unable to sell my house?

    Then on the other side:

    I am not an agent
I want to buy your house
    I can close fast

    Call me at xxx-xxxx

    Melanie D.
    Business Name
    E-mail address

Any suggestions on how I can improve this? Should my company name and/or logo even be on here?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    Melanie,

The free report strategy that has been suggested is a good one.

I think you can come up with a stronger headline than "Why was the real estate agent unable to sell my house?". For example:

"Sell Your House in 10 days or Less, No Closing Costs, No Agents, No Hassle!"

Your postcard copy should sound like you are talking one on one with them and hit them hard with the best 2-3 benefits you have to offer. Postcards are good as a first step. You have limited space to communicate in though.

If you can drive them to request a free report, you can then send then a letter that tells the whole story of what you have to offer.

    Good luck,

Thanks Jason. I greatly appreciate your feedback. You always seem to step up to the occasion and post good suggestions for us newbies searching for tips on letters or postcards. I will keep the board posted on what my response rate is.
