Flyers On Properties

jmonroy profile photo

My sister-in-law is newly licensed realtor. She is trying to sell her personal home. I noticed she did not have flyers on her sign in her front yard. I told her to put some flyers out and she said her broker told her not to. He said that flyers will stop interested people from calling. I disagree with him. What do you think flyers or no flyers?

    jmonroy,

    Glad to meet you.

I believe what the Broker is saying is, if the flyer is mediocre then it could be a turn off and the potential buyer would lose interest in the property.

If the flyer is spectacular in content then there is no reason not to use one, as this would spark the interest of the potential buyer into calling.

In Marketing it is the message that counts! So when using flyers make sure your message is done to make the buyer respond.

    Hey,

I think there might be another reason the broker is saying not to use flyers: people tend to empty flyerboxes, then someone has to restock flyers and an empty box does NOT look good to the seller. It might have to do with that more than good/bad flyers.
