Anybody Used Richard Roops Kit System?

TigerFu profile photo

Specifically 'Collect 5-Figure Paychecks Buying and Selling Houses'. I was checking it out and it seemed very promising with its' bonuses and 12 month money back guarantee. I was wondering if anybody has used his system has any success or objections with the product. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,

TF

    I have the program.
It consists of 10 cassette tapes of the very first seminar he ever gave.
My opinion of his marketing lessons is this:
If you have money to spend on marketing, then his methods of becoming a "Big Fish in a Small Pond" are worthy. My feeling is that his course (in terms of marketing) is geared towards a person that has been in the business for a bit and is interested in going to level 2.
I thought the other parts of his course , Getting Started, Planning, Finding Deals were a little disappointing. But like most courses I did come away with a couple of ideas.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you gslen! Another question is, does the 'Collect 5-Figure Paychecks Buying and Selling Houses' system includes his postcards system or does it come separate. Thanks again in advance!

    Dear Tiger Fu

My suggestion is to stay on this site, dump the books and courses and just read and on occasion take copius notes or just print out the various postings that seem applicable to what you want to do.

My most notable events in a long lifetime were those moments at which time I just went out and did it.

OJT On Job Training. It works well. Do not be afraid to make an a$$ of yourself.
It will really stick in your mind.

"Hi there Sir, I see a sign on your lawn that says you wish to sell this house? Well I dear Sir wish to buy. How much."

We got into bargaining, started at $15,000 and after about an hour we were down to $1,300. Sounds like a winner. Toooo dammm Goood.

I broke off to get to a telephone to call the title co. and get an ownership and existing financing. I came back and started in again.

Only one thing wrong, I was dealing with the tenant who was being evicted and was going to try and close me for $1,000 in cash and give me a John Doe Deed. That nice piece of paper would have been applicable to cleaning a dip stick when checking the oil in your engine. That would have been all.

Now that was OJT. I learned to check prior to contact with person on property.

    Tiger,

The current package includes the Volume II Update which layouts out the postcard mailing system.

I stand behind everything I do for those who have feedback for me (Joe).

I have personally read some of Richard
Roop's system and I think he is very creative and a good marketer. He was previously in sales and marketing and has brought his experience to real-estate. He has an excellent way of
"farming" areas and I would recommend his service.

    LeGrand Imitation?

Since Richard is new here, let me fill you in on who he "is".

He has written a lot of copy for LeGrand. He is a student of Jay Abraham. He gives a lot of FR*E info on his site and newsletter. He's worth a look.

Everyone borrows info in this industry. There aren't really any new ideas. It's all in the presentation.

I've researched most of the guru's in the REI industry and found that Roop and Locke are the most honest and "real" guys around. They both will actually reply to e-mail - they're reachable.

I don't work for either of the above mentioned. I'm actually a student of Legrand and a newbie at heart. I own the lower $$ programs of both though and will eventually buy their full packages soon.

Welcome Richard! And keep on keeping on John!
