Ads Painted On Buildings Or Vans
Has anyone tried painting their 2-3 line ad on the side of an old building or van? There are a couple of old buildings that I might approach the owner about painting my ad on the side. Any ideas on how to offer to pay them for this? Also, anyone bought an old van and painted their ad on the side of it and parked it in the Wal-Mart parking lot or something?[ Edited by chriseaker on Date 12/29/2003 ]

I have seen threads here that people have done just that, paint their ads on the side of a building and wound up paying huge fines for it. The upside of this is, the people that advertised that way, made quite a bit on money for the deals they generated. I am sure that most any way you can think of has been tried, but you have to find what works for you in your area. You can also get magnetic signs for your own vehicle and just ride around town. I plan on that for the next step in my marketing. Good luck

That's funny you mentioned advertising on a van. I am going to meet someone at 11:30am to see what he came up with for my van. I drive a Chrysler Town and Country Van. Nice big windows for advertising. I will let you know how it turns out in a month or so.

I figure with the property owners permission an excellent way to advertise.
Remember the Romans used the side of buildings to announce up coming events at the coliseum, it worked for them and that was a few thousand years ago.
There are plenty of spectators (motivated sellers) out there that can use our help, so go after them. Better than being a motivated seller inside the arena. Lions 1 Motivated Sellers 0.
