Tax Lien

Hello,
I had a fire last year that caused me to financially run short on paying my property taxes. I missed the fall payments and the spring payments. I have enough money to pay the fall ones off. Can they still sell the ones that were just due and put it on my credit report? Any replies are greatly appreciated as I can hardly sleep at night because of this. Jeff :-(

check local law. Here they carry the default for 4 or 5 yrs before going to sale.

Can you setup a payment plan if you're concerned about credit impact?

I would gladly set up payments but I am more worried about the leins showing up on my credit report and getting bad credit. Maybe they cannot sell the ones due this spring. The sale is coming up in a week or two. I will check with the courthouse. They will get you every which way around here.
