I have been reading other post on here about courthouse auctions. Is there any other liens I should worry about other then tax liens? Whould I be responsible for other judgement? Any help with this matter would be great.



I live in indiana.

    Call the tax deed/lien department at your county clerks office and ask them because every state has different laws...I can tell you in Florida, the only judgements that survive are governmental liens/judgements. Ex...IRS, county code compliance, etc...However any bid monies that go over the minimum bid should go to pay those liens. and in the case of the IRS they have 180 days to collect on the liens...I would stay away from props with IRS Liens...
