New Constructions
I am interested in building duplexes or condos, but I have no idea where to start. Is it possible for me to find builders that may have some land/building packages that may expedite this process? How much should I expect to finance with new construction of duplexes/condos?
I would first ask you why you are interested? Is it because you think you have the talent to do this? Is this the way you think you may make the most money with your time? What do you feel you bring to this venture?( Lately I have been big on evaluating the expenditure of my capital ( time, ingenuity, money))
There are, of course builders that will build on your lot and I am sure you can locate one in your area. I am building fourplexes this way . SW Florida. In my case, I paid cash for the land, and will finance 80% of the vertical cost. My "talent" that I bring to the deal is the abilty to market the property and structure the deal.
If you own the land already, you may have decided that this is best way to profit with the land - and perhaps it is. You will also probably be able to build you duplexes with little capital outlay.
