Foreign LLC

I live in AZ, but I have properties in different states. It seems that the common practice is to form LLCs in the state where the property locates and use registered agent services.

My question is, can I form "Foreign LLC" in AZ for each property in other states? That way I can avoid "Registered Agent Service" fee?

Yeah, but you get to pay the "Registration as a foreign corporation fee" in each state where you do business. And one of the reqirements of that registration is a registered agent in the state.
