Condo Commando Crying Sour Grapes

oo7icu profile photo

Hi all! I wanted to share my story with all of you. Here it goes. I bought a townhouse and got a great buy. The seller was not in a distressed situation, rather he had to sell quickly since he was relocated. My title company closed after the title commitment came back and all we had to do was pay the maintenece. No assocation approval needed, at least none on the commitment. We were at the property with my rehab crew and someone came over from the board and was very inquisitive as to who we were and what we paid for it. My partner wound up getting backed into telling him, well turns out he was mad because we made such a great buy and he wants the house. Now the "assocation" is trying to use their right of first refusal to take the property away from us. Has anyone ever heard of this. I have a litigation attorney working on it. I will keep you posted as to what happens, but watch out for these condo commandos. For those that are curious I bought it for 150k and have already closed on it. It is worth 210k plus. Just another sour grape for me making a great buy. smile
