California Transfer Tax
Has anyone every structured a transaction to avoid California Transfer Tax. I am considering dumping property to CA LLC with TX LLC sole member and subsequently transferring TX LLC interest. Will taxing auth. in CA pick this up?

I would not recommend doing what you propose. Knowingly circumventing the California tax code is a crimminal offense. They may not catch you, but is it worth the risk?
