Howlong Befoer Auction Evection?
This is for someone that was in foreclosure (Chicago, IL); had to move out of town; rented that foreclosure home (good idea as he was not paying mtg and made some rent money on otherwise vacant home). The auction is in Sep. After the home is auctioned, in what time frame should the tenants move out (days/ weeks)? It will be a REO since there is no equity.

Different laws for different states. In my state (Oregon, a trust deed state) an owner has ten days to move out. A tenant, (assuming he has a rental agreement) has 30 days. I can just about gaurantee, though, that every state is different. mayvbe someone from Illinois will chime in.
