Working With RE Agent?

lafinancial profile photo

I recently had a RE Agent email me from my site stating that he had two clients that would be perfect for my program. He says he specializes in "creative deals" How should I deal with in the manner of his fees(I know he's not letting me have them for free) etc? All comments are welcomed and encourged.

Ask him first and when you know what his needs wants and desires are then ask us and we'll turn on the creative caps.

Yes, I'm sure he will want some fee! Determine in your mind what you can afford.
I am a bit ignorant, as I don't know what "program" you have.
What is the realtor going to do to deserve his fee? If he is just making a referral and giving you names, then the standard in this area is 20-25% of the commission (2-3%), or what works out to .004 to .0075 of the sales price IF, and only if, those referral actually close. I am positive he will have some type of agreement to have you sign. No need to tell you to look it over carefully.
When it comes down to it, everything is negotiable. Make is work so all parties are happy and you have succeeded!

If the realtor is responding to ads, I would begin an open discussion with the agent for OTHER opportunities to network within the industry.

Maybe you could share with us your foreclosure ad program.
