Wachovia REO Contact?

compwhiz profile photo

Does anyone know either REO contact @ Wachovia bank or how Wachovia disposes of its REO properties? I have a house that went to Wachovia @ the auction sale, and I would like to make an offer on it, but don't know how to. Wachovia web site says they don't market residential REOs. Any help would be appreciated.

They probably do not market residential REOs. Not to be a smart ass, but they told you the answer. Most large banks will wholesale out their REOs. They end up listed with an MLS agent. There is no system in place for the bank employee to bend the rules and sell to an individual. Try calling up the Ford plant in Detroit and asking if you can buy a automobile directly from them.

You are being a smart @ss. I don't take NO for an answer. If the bank posts a public information that they don't market their residential REO inventory, I want to know who does. I'd rather not wait for the property to be listed in MLS when it's available to everyone in the world. I'd like to jump the line.

    Brenda is right.

The day of or the day after auction the peoperty is padlocked and sent to the REO department. I have found the properties get listed in a as little three days so your loss mit rep has NO say so.

I work with asset managers all the time and still cannot shake those nasty, filthy real estate agents so don't be so brash.
