OK, Reality Check Here!

Happy holidays guys. I've been told to read all I can about the business of doing real deals and I've followed that to a T, but the question is... What now? I found deals but I had to find financing. I found financing but I have to learn to structure the deal, I found out a little on how to structure the deal but every deal is different. Where can I find a mentor here in Georgia that will help and not be completly selfish with the knowledge they have? I mean I'll do fifty-fifty deals and even more if someone would just teach me how.
Am I asking too much? mad [ Edited by bj2964 on Date 12/02/2003 ]

No you are not, but you need to now ask and you shall receive.

Find the players in your area, talk to them and I'm sure someone will help you.

Someone here may even be willing to help.

You need to know what questions to ask. What type of deal are you trying to structure? Where is the rub? What do you want to know? Be specific and I'm sure you'll get more answers than you'll know what to do with. Good luck

Give my best to Oglethorpe......My god I have forgotten how to spell his name. My kind of guy opened up Debtors Prison and founded a colony. First law they passed. "Thou shalt not go to prison for debt." Love that guy.

Attend the foreclosure sales. Hang around the Courthouse. Get to know the players in your area. Meet some Mortgage Brokers, some Real Estate Brokers and come on line with some questions. Thats it.

Try going to your local real estate investors club. Check out some of the players there and you may even find your mentor there.
