One of the counties I look for foreclosures told me the same story. They have totally obsolete systems. I contacted one of the larger title companies in the county and they send me the info. on a monthly basis. Talk to lots of title companies.
Also, I've found a couple good web sites (for free) by typing "trustee sales" or something like that and they show auction dates and addresses (they specifically relate to oregon). I just send letters out to the folks...If I get a response, the research begins...
